Dancing is harder then I remember...

I took a Hip Hop dance class today at the 24 Hour Fitness.  I have realized four things.  Since the days of Evolution: 1) I have become extremely stiff 2) I have developed two left feet 3) dancing is hard 4) last but not least...I still love it

In a city of franchaises we were able to find what seemed to be the most
autyhentic mexican food spot in irvine....the service was friendly, food
came out fast and we even got a free taster appetizer....

Bonus..every day 2-6 pm the have margaritia specials!!!

Chinese Pasta and Pizza

I'm going 2 let u in on one of my fav' places for pasta: Savoy Kitchen
in Alhambra. Some people say the Hainan chicken dish is the best. For
me, I've always come away happy after ordering their Roasted chicken
pasta or their Shrimp and proscuito pasta. Want escargot? U got it!
Creme brule u say? But of course! People come from far and wide. No,
I'm not talking about their size. There's ususally a wait so, come at
odd hours, and you'll get seated. My favorite drink: Orangina. And
they stock it by the truckload!

SD for the weekend....

Well Alex and I headed down to SD for the weekend to try to put the beat down on the SD drivers....It was definitely a fun weekend....I was able to squeeze out a 1st place win in STS and Alex declared himself the 1st place winner in the "having fun" category...

Sushi ya!

So, I went to have lunch with my friend Lisa today. Like I remembered,
the service is slow. They don't always get your order right but, hey the
sushi was good! Not to mention their happy hour special =) So, here's
wat we got: lots of cali rolls(for lisa), soft shell crab(me) and eel
roll(me), and the half-baked scallop roll with dynamite sauce(mostly
me). Yummy! And to top it off, they give u a gi-normous 64oz iced-t.
Just the right size so u don't always have 2 bug' em for refills!

Another night out in HI

Last night I didn't go out, so tonight I decided that I would go out to satisfy that urge to go out and be crazy.  Let's just say that it is 2:20am and I am typing a blog message, so you can imagine how fruitless my night was.  Now I'm not saying that every night out with my CA friends ends up with a new notch on my belt, but I do have to admit that every night out with my CA friends is at least super fun on the fun scale.  Tonight the people I met were just blah....and the places I went to were just blah....all in all the night was just blah.  I know that Hawaii is beautiful, and the people are really nice, and the weather is always warm, and the air is so clean (run-on sentence), but all-in-all I am finished with this rock.  Until you've lived here away from your family and friends you have no idea.  Anyone who knows me knows that I am not the type to complain, so I must say that as soon (and not a minute later) as I land something, anything!, in CA I'm outta here...and to be honest...I can't wait until that day comes.  -ty

What we used to do.....

Ok.....it's 8am and im fricken tired but no complaints I'm at work making the world an easier place to see...but after a long night of dancing with Christina its hard to not remember the times in our life that we spent every min of the day of every week doing something related to dancing...our heart, our soul, our legacy still stands at UC Riverside in the Evolution or Evo dance team. It's cool to see that its still exist and still competing, but kinda sad at the same time that none of them know how the team started and what it was all about in the beginning. Either way I did a bit of youDIGGing and found some of the CSA Evo performances and of course pulled out our AMAZING performance in 2001 just as comparison and nostalgia. Funny how i still think that the team hasn't really impressed me in the years following what we call "the golden years" but each team with its new members changes the style and the feeling of the team and with that creates a whole new personality and feel. I definetly feel we tended to do a lot of cutting edge stuff which you can still see derivitives of in the all-UC teams and that is pretty cool..

Either way with Ty coming back soon and maybe only doing the occasional flight to Canada EH? I am putting all of us on notice that practice will commence when he returns and if you thought step it up was hot....You ain't seen US yet!!!!
